We Need Each Other
We need each other. We cannot make it in America or the world unless we help one another. Look out for one another. Love and care for one another.
There is no such thing as a self-made person. All of us have had to rely on others for any success that we may have. We may get help directly. We may get help indirectly. But all of us get help.
Just as an example, let us look at an imaginable town.
Our town is full of people of all races. People from all walks of life. Young people and old. Men and women. We have been put together through different circumstances.
Now that we are together, we must help one another. The way to do this is by getting to know each other. What backgrounds do we come from? What are our beliefs? What are our hopes and dreams? What do we want for our families? What do we want from our town? What are our talents?
Once we get to know each other, we are more likely to work together.
If a neighbor has a new addition to their family, we will welcome them with open arms and help with any provisions needed. If a project needs to be done to a home, those who can help will volunteer. Organizations will be created to help inside and out the community. Parents will look out for everyone’s child not just their own.
Local businesses will thrive as we trust them for their goods and services. The family grocery will survive from us giving them our business. The local auto mechanic will stay in business because we will bring our vehicles to them for repairs. We will patronize small businesses. We will rely on each other for help in all things.
This works for big businesses as well. Every big business owner has become successful from inside and outside help. No matter what they may tell us.
The first thing that any big business needs is for people to buy into their plan. If no one believes in the business, it will not work.
The big business needs employees who will work hard for them. They need someone to provide the raw materials for the business to work. They need people to get the materials for them. They need people with vision to get their product or idea out to the public.
There are people behind the scenes who are just as important. The cleaning people. The security people. The maintenance crews. Those who manage finances and benefits. All are important.
Whether it be individual help in communities or business all of us need it.
There is no such thing as a self-made person. All of us must get help to succeed.
We as Americans need each other. There is no other way that we will reach our full potential.
